Submissions are now open for Archival Futures: Community, Engagement, Technology, to be held in Nipaluna (Hobart), Tasmania from 1–4 March 2027.
The Queensland Branch, established in 1989, offers a variety of opportunities for contact with other archivists and recordkeepers around the State.
We hold regular workshops, seminars and visits to institutions where you'll be challenged professionally and encouraged by meeting like-minded people. Whether you work alone or in a team, are voluntary or paid, being part of the Branch is a great way to get connected!
Information about upcoming Branch events is posted to the Events page, as well as sent directly to Branch members.
ASA members residing in Queensland are automatically members of the Queensland Branch.
The Queensland Branch Committee for 2025-2026, elected at the AGM held 11 September 2025, is:
Convenor: Laura Hartsuiker
Secretary: Patricia Sharpe
Communications Officer: Hamish Wyatt
Committee Members: Jeni Bush and Isabel Wengert
